My Story
Hi! I’m Subi, the founder of Shakti Aging and Wellness Solutions. Thank you for visiting my site. This business was created out of my work in community health and as a Nurse Care Manager at Somatus. For several years, I worked with isolated elders and overwhelmed family caregivers facing the challenges of declining health. I was deeply moved by the commonality of these experiences and the opportunity to advocate for my clients to get the kind of caregiving that reconciles NEEDS and WISHES.
I believe that nurses working with caregivers in the home setting is a game changer for the quality of life and longevity of elders. I want to be a part of solutions that uplift my clients, and am committed to the journey to get there. A graduate of UGA and Medical College of Georgia, I bring two decades of experience in community health, nursing, and quality improvement to my unique approach and expertise.
I'm an Aging Life Care Professional and a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association. My goal is to understand my clients' unique stories, help them clarify their plans, and take impactful steps to promote independence and positive outcomes. I seek to create and grow a company where teams are actively involved in the design and improvement of care delivery systems. Whether you have chosen to embrace the sacred role of family caregiving or have found yourself in this position unexpectedly, I would be honored to be your ally and advocate.
